Other Staff Benefits

In normal practice, the staff welfare shall be proposed by Administrative Manager and approved by the Director. The approved staff welfares are listed below:

  1. On separation from service
    a. Three years up to 10 years: The value of memento is equivalent to value of gold jewelry, 3.8 grams weight
    b. Ten years up to 25 years: The value of memento is equivalent to value of gold jewelry, 7.6 grams weight
    c. Twenty-five years up: The value of memento is equivalent to value of gold jewelry, 15.2 grams weight


  2. Death of a staff member or family members
    In case of death of a staff member or immediate family members (spouse, parents, children), the Secretariat will host a religious service and contribute a donation to the staff member or his/her family in the amount of Baht 10,000. This is in addition to the wreath which is normally sent on behalf of the organization.

  3. Hospitalization/Sickness
    In general, a flower vase or fruit basket of the same value will be sent to the staff member who is confined in the hospital or on rest at home by medical advice provided that the period of confinement or sick leave with medical certificate is not less than four consecutive days.

  4. Uniform for Drivers and Office Helpers
    Drivers and Office Helpers will be provided with three sets of uniform per person including shoes and belts.

  5. Transport Allowance
    Effective 1st July 2000, the General Service Staff who are requested to report to the Office before 06:30 hrs or who are assigned to perform overtime work beyound 20:00 hrs on any one day are entitled to the transport allowance of Baht 80.- for each period of the assignment. The payment of the transport allowance is to help compensate for travel expenses for the staff members who are required to work early in the morning or during late hours.
